In a very sweet moment at a Garth Brooks concert in Minneapolis, the country megastar stopped during a performance of "The Dance" to celebrate a very special fan who is battling cancer.

Teresa Shaw, who is currently undergoing aggressive treatment for cancer, traveled from Iowa to Minnesota for the show with a sign that read, "Chemo This Morning. Garth Tonight. Enjoying The Dance," KARE 11 in Minneapolis reported.
She held the sign up during the song and was noticed by an usher, who escorted her closer to the front of the stage. Once there, Brooks saw Shaw's sign and it all turned into one of those nights people in the audience would never forget.

Brooks walked to the edge of the stage and serenaded Shaw, before giving her his guitar and kissing her on the forehead.
Borrowing her sign, Brooks stood and held the message up, declaring to Shaw, "You have all my strength. You have everybody's strength in here, and you go kick cancer's ass!"
The crowd erupted in cacophonous cheer, Shaw began to cry tears of unmitigated joy, and the moment went viral immediately, because sometimes the world just needs a little more joy.
